What is considered a no-findings vehicle history report?

A no-findings report does not contain any historical data. Historical data includes:

  • Mileage records (Odometer section)
  • Damage records (Damage section)
  • Administrative type of events, e.g., sales records, registrations, ownership changes, insurance records, technical inspections (MOT), etc. (Timeline section)
no-fidings report

There can be two reasons why the report is not as informative as expected:

  • You made a mistake when entering the vehicle’s VIN – double-check it.
  • Our data sources do not contain any historical data for the vehicle based on its VIN code.

If your report has no findings, no action is needed on your part – we will automatically return spent credits to your account so you can use them to check another vehicle.

How long are refunded credits valid for?

Automatically refunded credits will remain active in your account for 6 months from the date they were purchased. During this period, you can use them to check the VIN of any other vehicle and get a new report.
